Why do you think the lepers stay at a distance from
Jesus? Read Leviticus 13:45,46.
Based on the above text from Leviticus, how do you
think a person who’s got leprosy would feel about himself?
What did they do when they saw Jesus?
What did the lepers want from Jesus?
Application:
1- Many people are far from Jesus because they feel
themselves unworthy to be closer to Him; they feel unclean. Do you know anyone
like that? What can you do to help change this image?
2- Go back to yesterday’s list of rejected people you
did. Can you imagine the feeling of loneliness, shame and guilt these people
carry? Pray again for them.
3- What if you take a
day during this week to go visit a drug rehab center, or aids patients at the
hospital or a home for handicapped people to show God’s grace to them?
