# What was
Mary doing?
# Who were
seated inside the tomb?
# Why was
she crying?
Mary was
upset. The reason was that Jesus body was taken away. She didn't understand He
had risen again. That’s why she was crying. At this point angels come into
scene and question her about her tears. When she answers it’s because of Jesus,
she has got a revelation of Him, though she didn't recognize Him. Two points I
want to emphasize in this meditation:
1 –
Heavens worries about our tears. Maybe today you are crying, going through
difficulties. Your tears don’t go unknown. God sees each one of them and register them in His book
(Psalm 56:8). Soon He will reveal Himself in answer to your tears.
2 – Mary’s
tears were motivated by the fact of Jesus’ body be nowhere to be seen. Today
we, the Church, are the Body of Christ but, unhappily there are many places
where the Body of Christ is absent. Our reaction should be the same as Mary’s:
to cry, to take this reality before the Father in prayer, fasting, brokenness.
The revelation will come, even if we are not aware of it.
