21/03/2014 – Friday – Read John 1:32-34; Luke 3:21,22; Matthew 3:16,17; Mark 1:10,11
1- What was the signal for John to
know who the One that would baptize with Holy Spirit was? Did John see it? What
did he start to testify after he saw the Messiah? Who do you think sent him to
baptize with water? Was he obedient? What would have happened if he didn't
obey? How is your obedience to God?
2- What was Jesus doing soon after
the baptism, at the moment heaven was opened? What Jesus saw as soon as he went
out of the water? Who else saw it?
3- “And a voice came from heaven...” Who
did hear this voice? What did the voice from heaven say? Whom do you think
spoke from heaven?
4- “You are my Son, whom I love...” Jesus
was the Son of whom? John saw the Spirit come down and remain on Jesus and
because of that he started to testify what? We can see God the Father and Holy
Spirit confirming the baptism, identity and ministry of Jesus. Are you seeing a
divine confirmation in your life at the different areas? If not, what can you
do to change this?
