1:29-31
1- What was the prophecy written by
Isaiah? What is its relation to John the Baptist? What is its relation to the
word given by the angel in Luke 1:17?
2- Whom did John the Baptist identify
as the Lamb of God? How can the Lamb of God take away the sin of the world? Can
you see that the sacrifice of the Lamb of God at the cross has freed you from
all your sins?
3- Did John know the Lamb of God who
takes away the sin of the world before? So how did he know Jesus was the Lamb
of God? Why was John baptizing with water?
4- Finally, after reading the verses
above, what was John’s role or responsibility towards Jesus?
